Despite scoring just a single point Giovannardi takes the Drivers Championship meaning a clean sweep for Vauxhall / VXR. Mat Jackson takes 2 wins and a 4th to claim second spot in the championship - Chilton wins the final race of 2008.

Stephen Jelley takes his first ever pole in the final round from Brands Hatch.

League standings adjusted following the discovery of an error from an earlier round. Plato was awarded 30 points, rather than 3 for his performance at Croft.
31st August
Plato, Giovannardi and Jackson share the spoils - the Italian extends his lead in the championship to 44 points. Plato has it all to do in the final meeting at Brands Hatch next month.
30th August
Plato takes pole, with Turner alongside him on the front row. Giovannardi down in 11th.
